RIVER EDGE ROCKETS SWIM TEAM

The River Edge Swim Club’s Rockets Swim Team is an amazing experience for children of all ages and levels, including:

• Daily practice

• Competition against other swim clubs

• League and NJPMA Championships

• Fun for the entire family

Requirements

Swimmers and divers must be members of the swim club between the ages of 5 and 17 as of May 31, 2026. Participants do not have to have any experience to be on the swim team, but must be able to swim at least 25 meters and be confident in deep water. An optional swim clinic will be offered the week before practice begins, in order to allow the kids to brush up on skills.

In order to compete in the New Jersey Pool Managers’ Championship Meets at the end of the season, each swimmer must attend at least two dual meets during the regular season.

Season

Practice begins in late June and continues through the month of July.

Registration & Fees

To get ready for a great 2026 season with the Rockets, a $100 Swim Team fee per swimmer must be paid through Community Pass. In addition, a $75 volunteer fee per family will be collected at the Swim Team meeting or at the first practice. This fee will be returned at the end of the season once volunteer commitments have been completed—thank you for helping make our team run smoothly!

Please note that swimmers must have both the Swim Team fee and volunteer check submitted before participating in practices or meets. Once everything is in, your swimmer is all set to jump in and be part of the fun—we can’t wait to get the season started

Meets

Swim meets will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Some meets will be at our club, others will be held at our competitors’ pools.

The warm Up time for all meets is 5:00, with a 5:30 start
