While we're always sad to see members go, we want to make the resignation process as straightforward as possible. The information below will guide you through the steps and important deadlines.

If you wish to resign your membership from the River Edge Swim Club, please download and complete the Resignation Form.

Once completed, you may submit the form in one of the following ways:

Your resignation will be processed once the completed paperwork has been received by the Business Office.

Important Information Regarding Resignation

The River Edge Swim Club is a private corporation owned by its bondholders. As a bondholder, you are responsible for paying annual membership dues until your membership has been formally resigned in writing.

To avoid late fees, written notice of resignation must be received by the Business Office no later than May 1st of the current year.

Per the Club By-Laws, resignations received after May 1st are subject to a late fee, which will be deducted from the bond refund. The amount of the fee is determined by the Board of Trustees.

Additionally, any active member who does not:

  • Register and pay annual dues,

  • Submit a membership deferral request, or

  • Submit a written resignation, by August 1st of the current year will be considered to have resigned from the club and will forfeit their bond.
