Interested in Serving on the Board of Trustees?
The River Edge Swim Club’s Board of Trustees is a dedicated group of volunteers who help guide the overall operation and future of our club. Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to give back, share your ideas, and play an active role in shaping our community.
The Board is responsible for:
Establishing rules and regulations for the safe and enjoyable use of club facilities
Setting the Club’s operating schedule
Approving annual operating and capital budgets
Determining membership dues and fees
Hiring and supporting the Club Manager and Assistant Managers
The Board meets monthly throughout the year, currently on the second Thursday of each month. Trustees may serve up to two consecutive three-year terms.
Each December, during the Club’s Annual Meeting, Bondholders elect members to the Board of Trustees. To be eligible, candidates must be Full-Time Bonded members for at least three seasons and must be residents of River Edge.
From within its membership, the Board elects officers including a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Trustees also serve as liaisons to various committees, working alongside both Board and non-Board members to support club initiatives.
To ensure the continued strength of our leadership, we encourage interested Bondholders to consider serving as a Trustee. A Trustee Candidate Application is available to help you learn more about the role and express your interest.
If you are interested in becoming more involved, please complete the application below. Thank you for your continued support of River Edge Swim Club—where we have fun under the sun!
